The clatter of trays hitting the wooden tables and the sounds of laughter and chatter was all that could be heard throughout the expensive school. Peter picked up a tray and started filling it with whatever looked good, which happened to be a shrimp salad, a Fiji water and a parfait. He payed and walked out into the bustling, noisy room and saw the closed off seating for the upperclassmen. He started towards it and went and sat in the corner table, all alone. He took out his phone and started texting his old friend back in England, about how different it was in America rather than back home in Manchester. He laughed at his phone, then quickly shut his mouth due to embarrassment. He was just glad that Marissa wasn't here to see him embarrass himself. He locked his phone, opened the plastic container with his salad and dug in.

The dark haired teen waltzed casually in the cafeteria and glanced around. So many people it made him cringe at the loudness of the room. But he had to get used to it sometime soon or else he'll be a jumpy teen that no one will like. Shaking his head Jayden made his way towards the food line an picked up a tray before going down the line and picking what he liked from it. A hamburger (gosh it's been forever since he had one) with the usual toppings of onions, lettuce, tomato, pickles and ketchup. He also got some onion rings on the side and a cherry coke before buying his food and headed through the many tables to find an empty seat.

He spotted a lone guy sitting alone and headed over to him. "Oi, Mate. Mind if I sit with you here?" He asked Peter. His Australian accent pronounced as he spoke casually. "There aren't any good empty seat 'round here." He added with a small smile.

It was crazy in the cafeteria as her light brown eyes scanned for a spot to sit. Sierra usually sat with her popular friends but they were not truly her friends and today she decided not to sit with them. With her parfait in one hand and her bottle Fiji water in the other. She looked for a spot to sit, which was hard as there did not seem to be any spots open at anytime. As she walked along she seen there was an empty table with only two seniors sitting at it one she recognized immediately as Peter they had a run in before when they first got to school. Sierra waved towards Peter and greeted the other boy with a friendly smile. “May I sit with you?”

Peter looked up from his salad, and wiped his mouth before speaking. "No it's quite alright, lad. I'm Peter, by the way." His thick English accent rolled off his tongue. He was about to ask what his name was when that girl, Sierra from the lot sat down. "No, please do sit!"

He grinned and sat down. Returning the smile of greetings to Sierra. "Nice to meet you! I'm Jayden." He introduced. "Just enrolled here few days ago." He added as he settled down to eat his meal. Occasionally glancing between the two, Peter and Sierra

Once she was invited to sit that is what Sierra did. She placed a strand of hair behind her ear that fell out of place and was covering her eyes. She twisted off the cap from the water bottle and took a long sip, the water was refreshing as it went down her throat. Sierra gently placed the bottle down as the other brother introduce himself as Jayden, he was new to Kellington. “It is nice to meet you, Jayden. I’m Sierra Davis.” She smiled. “How are you liking things here?” She asked curiously.

Peter smiled at them both, before shoving another forkful of salad into his mouth. He watched Sierra drink from her bottle before introducing herself to Jayden.

He chuckled. "Considering the little time I have had here this far it's hard for me to judge." He mused with a thoughtful look and a small smile. "But so far I like it." He replied. "Did you two join recently too or Have ya'll been here awhile?" He asked glancing between the two

Peter nodded as he listened to Jayden speak. He remembers being a transfer student, especially when you transferred from a different continent. "I've been here awhile. But I transferred from Manchester." He said as he unscrewed his drink.
